The diverse team of product development specialists at the core of Soltronix, LLC first came together in 1994, as a product development team, working on non-invasive medical products. In July of 1999, the group separated from their employer following a change of ownership and founded Soltronix in May of 2000.

Still supporting some of the same clients the business was locate at the Amberglen Business Center, Bldg 1100, NW Compton Drive, Suite 308, Beaverton OR. The 1,200 Sq/ft facilities supported at the time, five managing members, and as many as seven employees. The company specifically carted to product design and development, manufacturing consulting efforts and prototype development.

On May 30, 2001 the three current member of Soltronix bought out the other members of Soltronix. This reduced Soltronix's ownership burdens and allowed them to concentrate on growing the company. The members sought new clientele and began to grown the business into a thriving product development practice.

In February of 2002, Soltronix took advantage on the downturn in commercial real estate property and moved into a 5,180 Sq/ft facility. At this facility Soltronix could manage more projects offer finished goods assembly and test services along with product drop ship programs. The new space was organized and efficient and gave Soltronix a much-needed polished look to support their quality objectives.

Always on the cutting edge of technology, Soltronix purchased a state of the art Product Life Cycle Management software and Material Requirements Planning system to close the loop between design, development, purchasing accounting, and manufacturing of all products. This system allowed them to support clients all over the world and deliver quality solutions that meet their quality objectives.

Soltronix's proprietary business design techniques, combined with its specialized industry knowledge and global reach, has enabled Soltronix to anticipate changes in the electronics industry and the competitive environment, and then design their business and improve operations to seize opportunities created by those changes.
