Octanium's extremely compact DuraWatt™ DS-70N 12 Volt DC-DC Power Supply is the ultimate power solution for so this digital revolution, adding “smarts” to motor-vehicle electrical power. It conditions and converts unregulated 12-volt DC to deliver up to 70 watts of output power, eliminating the need for costly power invertors. DuraWatt™ DS-70W is installed between the vehicle's 12-volt electrical system and the computer ATX motherboard connector. When used in combination with Octanium's shutdown controller, it will initiate a "soft shutdown" of the computer after a fixed amount of time, protecting vital data, the CPU, and the vehicle battery.
